East Longmeadow Priest Charged with OUI

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WGGB) – 65-year-old Reverend James Scahill, of St. Michael’s Parish in East Longmeadow, was charged with operating under the influence after a minor accident Friday evening.
According to East Longmeadow Police Sgt. Patrick Manley, the three-car accident happened at approximately 5:20 pm on Friday at the intersection of Harkness Avenue and North Main Street in East Longmeadow.
Scahill could not be immediately reached for comment. He will appear in court early next week.
