Palmer High School Evacuated after Bomb Threat

PALMER, Mass. (WGGB) — Police are investigating a bomb threat made towards Palmer High School.
Palmer Police Sgt. Scott Haley says that around early Tuesday afternoon, officers were called to Palmer High for a report of a bomb threat.
The threat, which was written on a wall in a men’s bathroom, indicated that a bomb was to go off at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.
The school was evacuated around 1:00 p.m., and the students were dismissed and sent home a short time later.
Officers and school officials conducted a sweep of the building and found no bomb.
Haley says that the investigation remains ongoing.
