SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — A lunchtime scuffle between a cafeteria worker and a student has landed both in some hot water.

Azell Cavaan, spokesperson for Springfield Public Schools, says a Sodexo cafeteria worker and a student got into a fight during lunch late Tuesday morning at Commerce High School.

Cavaan says that disciplinary action has been taken against the student, and the school department is asking Sodexo to restrict that worker, who is not a school department employee, from working in the Springfield school system.
