SPRINGFIELD (WGGB) — One person is dead following a crash on Boston Road in Springfield.

Police tell abc40 that an SUV flew off the road around two o’clock this morning hitting a tree. The victim was ejected from the SUV and actually had the vehicle roll on top of her.

There were two other people believed to be in that SUV, and police say they both took off. Neither of them have been found at this point.

Boston Road to Slater Road is still shut down this morning.
