Former Holyoke Mayor Arrested

SOUTHWICK, Mass. (WGGB) – Former Holyoke Mayor Daniel J. Szostkiewicz has been arrested and charged with assault and battery.

Southwick Police say it happened Saturday evening around 8:30. It is currently under investigation.

The victim was a woman. Her name is not being released at this time.

He will be arraigned in Westfield District Court on Monday.
