Firefighters Knock Down Kenyon Street Fire

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Firefighters have been able to put out a fire at an abandoned Springfield home.
The call came in around 10:00 a.m. Wednesday for a fire at 15 Kenyon Street.
Nobody was inside the home at the time, and no injuries were reported.
The cause remains under investigation, but Dennis Leger, aide to Springfield Fire Commissioner, says that it’s considered a suspicious fire.
