Police Find Flipped SUV Empty

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — An SUV went off the road and flipped over early Wednesday morning.

Police say the vehicle went off the road shortly after 12:30 a.m. and flipped, causing concern for an injured driver, but when police showed up there was no one inside.

Springfield Police Captain Cheryl Claprood said that officers were checking to see if the SUV was stolen or if there was any stolen property inside.
