AMBER Alert Cancelled in Conn. for Mother and Son

Simsbury, CT (WGGB) — An AMBER Alert that was issued for a 3 year-old boy and his mother who went missing in the area of Hartford Connecticut Thursday afternoon has been cancelled.

That’s according to the State Police who said the alert was called off just before 9:00 p.m.

Authorities were actively searching for Anthony Bunce and 40 year-0ld Yolanda Bunce who went missing in Hartford, Conn. at around 3:30 p.m.

Yolanda was with her son at the time of their disappearance.

Earlier, Lt. Paul Vance with the Connecticut State Police said, “According to co-workers of Edward Bunce, Anthony’s Father, Yolanda was not coherent.  She was looking for Edward for an unknown reason and dropped off miscellaneous items.”

Yolanda was driving a black, 2006 Volvo S60.

State Police say they have been found safe in Rhode Island.
