I'm sure they had a strong reason to back out their proposal of making a casino on that place. Whatever it is, let's just support and we hope they would get another one. A lot of projects are affected bu this news including my craps table productions.

The Springfield selection process could ultimately prohibit a company from participating in the local referendum and presenting our project at the state level. In addition to that the city requirement for us to pay a significant non-refundable fee to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission without any guarantee that our project will be considered by the Gaming Commission is concerning?
Yet spend 16 miilion on an East Springfield property that is going nowhere?

I hope Springfield don’t get it. A group in Palmer did far more to get a casino in the area than anyone did at all in Springfield.

Wow! That’s pretty big decision but I get it. Why would they risk the license fee with the odds of being chosen so slim. They are in the business of knowing when a bet does not have good odds.
