Annual Easthampton Holiday Stroll

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WGGB) — Friday was the annual Holiday Stroll in Easthampton.

Hundreds of marchers went from the Maple Street School, down Cottage and Union Streets, and onto Main Street to Pulaski Park.

The procession was led by this year’s Distinguished Young Woman of Greater Easthampton, Rachel Connell, who had some special duties.

“I got to light the tree today at the pond. I had to swing my candy cane and make it magically light up. It was great,” Connell said.

There were cookies, hot chocolate and music, and the kids had a chance to meet with Santa at the end of the march.
