WNEU Building Cleared After Report Of Ammonia

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — The Pharmacy Building at Western New England University is all clear.
A dispatcher with the school’s Department of Public Safety confirms it was a false alarm.
Dennis Leger, Aid to the Springfield Fire Commissioner, says the original call was for a reported ammonia odor coming from the third floor of the pharmacy building.
The building was cleared as a precaution.
