Bob Costas Calls for Increased Gun Control After Jovan Belcher Murder-Suicide

It was anything but a typical halftime report on Sunday Night Football this week, one day after a Kansas City Chiefs linebacker killed his girlfriend and then shot himself in the head in front of two coaches and the team’s general manager.
During his Sunday Night Football halftime report, NBC commentator Bob Costas used the opportunity to advocate for increased gun control — and to seemingly criticize the team’s decision to play over the weekend.
