Car Fire Breaks Out in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD (WGGB) — A car fire broke out in Springfield this morning.

Officials say the car burst into flames on Girard Avenue. This happened just after 3:00 am.

The car was engulfed in flames as crews arrived on scene. The fire has since been put out and the car is totaled.

The cause is still under investigation.
