Disabled Woman Attacked at Walmart

HADLEY, Mass. (WGGB) — The Hadley Police Department is trying to identify a man caught on tape who they say assaulted a disabled woman at the Walmart on Russell Street.

Police say at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, the man assaulted the woman and temporarily disrupted business in the store.

The situation was initially handled by employees and is now under investigation.

The man is described to be a white male between the ages of 35 and 45, and standing at approximately 6 feet. He was accompanied by a woman of about the same age and two children.
