Smith was arrested and charged in February after police smelled cannabis coming from his car, which was parked in front of a fire hydrant in Los Angeles. On Tuesday, Smith pleaded guilty to the drug possession charge and no contest to the DUI. He was sentenced to a 12-hour program for the DUI conviction and to a six-month drug diversion program. He was also placed on three years’ probation and is due back in court in June.
