NASA, NOAA Releases Image of U.S. from Space on Cloudless Night

(CNN) — It’s America like you’ve never seen it before.
This is an image captured by a NASA and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration satellite.
What you’re looking at is the man-made glow of lights in the U.S. on a could-free night.
Scientists unveiled the unprecedented new image at the American Geophysical Union meeting in San Francisco on Wednesday.
