Report: Conn. AMBER Alert Canceled after Boy Located in Bristol
HARTFORD, Conn. (WGGB) – Media reports say that police have found the boy at the center of an AMBER Alert that was issued Thursday in Connecticut.
WVIT-TV (NBC Connecticut) reports that 2-year-old Luis Trinidad Jr. has been found and is safe at the Bristol Police Department, and the AMBER Alert has been discontinued.
Earlier in the evening, Conn. State Police issued an the alert after a 2003 Cadillac CTS was stolen from a Hartford convenience store with the boy inside.
The station says that the boy’s father ran into the store for a brief moment, when the car was taken.
The car was found just before 6:00 p.m. in Hartford and a suspect was taken into custody.
