WESTFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – Residents near Barnes ANG Base are being advised of some night training taking place next week.

Members of the 104th Fighter Wing will be conducting training flights on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night, with the first flight around dusk and another around 7:00 p.m.

The latest landing is expected around 10:00 p.m. each night.

Major Matthew Mutti from the 104th Fighter Wing says that they hope that this advance notice will help alleviate any concern over the increase in air traffic during the night.
