Springfield, Mass (WGGB) – There’s no snow on the ground around here but the snow guns have been cranking across the slopes.  Many ski resorts are open or plan to open soon and the ski season is underway. Although we are not expecting any natural snow this weekend they will continue to make it across the mountains of northern and central New England.  Temperatures will reach into the 30s by day but dip into the 20s at night.
