CT and Mass State Police Search for Robbery Suspect

SOMERS, Conn. (WGGB) Massachusetts and Connecticut State Police are searching this morning for the suspect in an armed robbery in Somers.

Police say the Dzen Garden Market at 103 Main Street was robbed by a woman with a gun Thursday night just before 5:00 p.m.  She was able to get away in a gray car with an unknown amount of cash.  The suspect is described as an older white female in her fifties, with shoulder length dark hair.

Standing at about 4’11″  and weighs about 130lbs.  She was wearing a gray wool coat, dark pants and black wool gloves and she carried a black patent leather pocketbook with shiny silver rivets and clasps, which carried her dark colored handgun.

Witnesses say she drove away in in a gray car.
