Dallas Cowboys' Jerry Brown Killed in Car Wreck, Teammate Josh Brent Jailed

Dallas Cowboys player Josh Brent was jailed Saturday and charged with intoxicated manslaughter after he was behind the wheel during a car accident that killed teammate Jerry Brown early Saturday, ESPN reports.

According to local police, Brent’s car was traveling on a local State Highway in Cincinnati, where the Cowboys are playing this weekend, before it hit the outside curb at approximately 2:30 a.m. The car flipped at least one time and skidded before coming to a halt in the middle of the service road.
