WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Fans of Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera are still in shock following her tragic death.

She was killed in a plane crash early Sunday morning in northern Mexican.

All seven people on board were killed.

Western Mass. spanish radio station Power 1270 am has been following the story.

Program Director Nelson Brudys says listeners couldn’t believe the news and have been calling in all day.

“They are calling asking what happened? Is the news true about Jenni Rivera? We are very sad,” said Brudys.

NTSB investigators are helping the Mexican government in determining what caused the plane to crash.
