Man Robbed By A Group With Gun in Holyoke

armed robbery HOLYOKE, Mass. (WGGB)  — A man was robbed by a group of men showing him a hand gun around 2:40PM on Wednesday in the area of 110 Hampshire Street in Holyoke.

According to Lieutenant Jim Albert, the alleged thieves took  money and a cell phone from the victim, so he went to the CVS on Beech Street to call police.

Several police officers responded to the call and found a group of men matching the victim’s description in an alley way between Sergent and Hampshire Streets.

Four men were arrested including; Melvin Santiago, 24, Kevin Colon, 17, Eduardo Ayala, 17, and Emanuel Santiago-Cintron, 18. The four men, all of Holyoke, are being charged with armed robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon. Melvin Santiago is also facing charges for possession of marijuana.
