ABC40 Honor Roll – Students Spreading Cheer Overseas

Southwick, Mass (WGGB)-  A group of 6th graders at the Powder Mill Middle School in Southwick are spreading some holiday cheer to troops overseas.

The students are sending supplies and well wishes to Justin Dillon and his fellow servicemen in Afghanistan. Justin is a former Powder Mill student himself.  He is in charge of drilling water wells in the middle of the desert. The troops are living in tents with no amenities to speak of.

The students have been working on the cards and packages over the past week and shipped them out over the weekend.
