Springfield, Mass. (WGGB) — The Springfield Police Department has arrested 3 armed suspects who they say robbed a convenience store on Dickinson Street tonight.
Captain Cheryl Clapprood says the call came in just after 6:30 p.m. for an armed robbery at Ambis, a convenience store located at 142 Dickinson Street.
When police arrived on scene they learned that 3 armed masked men had robbed the business of $200 in cash and 30 packs of cigarettes.
The robbers also made off with the clerk’s laptop, iPhone, and wallet before they fled the scene.
But police say with the help of the State Police K-9 Unit and the tracker on the iPhone they were able to find the 3 suspects at 63 Kenwood Terrace along with all the items that had been stolen.
Clapprood says they also found bullet proof vests there.
Police arrested 22-year-old Jennifer Brown of 43 Kenwood Terrace, 26-year-old Jonathan Lopez, 20-year-old Misael Lebron, and 22-year-old Kyle Randolph.
All of them are facing several gun charges, with Lopez, Lebron, Randolph having an one additional charge each of armed and masked robbery.
No one was injured in this incident.

They’ll be back on the streets tomorrow, courtesy of a liberal Massachusetts judge. They’ll have to kill someone before they’re locked up. Keep up the good work…vote that liberal ticket. Need to hire an exterminator from the West Coast to come to Springfield to start taking the dirtbags out. Maybe $2500 a head.
Thugs, pretty dumb thugs. Don’t they know that smart phones have GPS in them and the police can track them..
So instead of having Christmas with their family, they will be spending Xmas behind bars for what about $ 500 worth of merchandise.
Like to know where they got the bullet proof vests

This place gets rob every week it seems. I go there everyday and they are a nice family. The last robbery almost put them under, glad they were able to get his merch back.
Actually, Dale, as a non-smoker, I was shocked when I learned how much cigarettes actually cost. A coworker asked if I would pick up a pack of cigarettes for him and he’d reimburse me. I figured I had a five in my pocket – I was good to go. The total ended up being close to $8 for a single pack. I had to bust out the debit card.
I myself was shocked when a store owner told me how much a pkg cost and then carton (eighty to ninety dollars????) I have always been a non-smoker but I was curious last wk and asked! Holy cow! How can anyone afford those prices? To me it’s a vacation somewhere Ha! A “NICE” vacation @ those prices!
Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do when they come for you…
3 of em eh? Carton of cigs and about 70 bucks apiece. Hardly worth it, IMHO.
