SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Police are searching for a female armed robber with a knife who held up Sally Beauty Supply on Boston Road in Springfield early Wednesday evening.
That’s according to our crew on scene who spoke with police about the incident.
The call was received at about 6:45 p.m. for a robbery at the store located at 1079 Boston Road in the Wal-Mart shopping plaza.
Police say the woman was able to make off with an undisclosed amount of cash after the store clerk saw a knife sticking out of her pocket.
She’s described as being in her mid-20′s, with a height of 5’3 and weighing about 100 pounds. She has red hair and was wearing gray sweat pants with a black hooded sweatshirt with a North Face logo on the front.
The suspect was last seen fleeing in a dark gray, late model Nissan Maxima.
No one was injured in this incident.
