SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — We picked up several inches of snow last night (12-26 into 12-27) before changing to rain.

This morning left us with a nasty mix of snow, sleet and rain in The Greater Springfield area that is now heading out.

Berkshire and Franklin County may still see a couple of more inches of accumulation before the edge of the storm moves north.

A few lingering light showers and drizzle may pop up later this afternoon and early evening. Highs today will stay in the 30s with a gusty breeze.

Some Snow Totals:

  • Greenfield: 9″
  • Westhampton: 6″
  • Westfield: 6″
  • Worthington: 8″
  • Springfield: 3″
  • Agawam: 4″
  • East Longmeadow: 3″
  • Palmer: 3″
  • Ware: 3″

When its all said and done, we are overall looking at:

  • Berkshire County & Northern Franklin County: 6-10 inches
  • Central Hampshire & Hampden Counties: 4-6 inches
  • South of Springfield: 2-4 inches

Drive safe and take it slow!
