Weather System Leaves Behind 3″ to 10″ of Snow, Slush

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — We picked up several inches of snow last night (12-26 into 12-27) before changing to rain.
This morning left us with a nasty mix of snow, sleet and rain in The Greater Springfield area that is now heading out.
Berkshire and Franklin County may still see a couple of more inches of accumulation before the edge of the storm moves north.
A few lingering light showers and drizzle may pop up later this afternoon and early evening. Highs today will stay in the 30s with a gusty breeze.
Some Snow Totals:
- Greenfield: 9″
- Westhampton: 6″
- Westfield: 6″
- Worthington: 8″
- Springfield: 3″
- Agawam: 4″
- East Longmeadow: 3″
- Palmer: 3″
- Ware: 3″
When its all said and done, we are overall looking at:
- Berkshire County & Northern Franklin County: 6-10 inches
- Central Hampshire & Hampden Counties: 4-6 inches
- South of Springfield: 2-4 inches
