Threat of Three Bombs at Springfield Court Forces Evacuation
December 27th, 2012
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — A threat of several bombs at the Hampden County Hall of Justice forced its evacuation Thursday morning.
Erika Gully-Santiago, spokesperson for the Mass. Trial Court system, says that this morning, a man called the court and “told a court employee that there were three bombs in the building.”
The court was immediately evacuated to the MassMutual Center and the State Police Bomb Squad was called in to conduct a search.
“After a thorough search of the building, authorities determined that there was no threat,” Gully-Santiago adds.
People were allowed back into the building around noon.
The case remains under investigation.

That’s the 2nd threat that I know of this year. some ignorant ******* has nothing better to do or is tryin to avoid a conviction before the new year. SAD.
This is getting out of hand. People don’t feel safe anywhere anymore
someone wanted out of jury duty
I hear Ted Knight saying, “Meanwhile, back at the Hall Of Justice….”
Is that one felony or 3?
Hope they can trace the call to the jerk who called it in. He deserves a few felonies for what he did.
funny how they didnt evacuate juvenile until 30 minutes later
