Southwest Flight Veers off Runway on Long Island
December 27th, 2012
Ronkonkoma, N.Y. (CNN) — A plane taxiing at Long Island’s MacArthur Airport needed a little help this morning.
The Southwest flight was about to take-off for Tampa, Florida when it slid off the taxiway and got stuck in the grass.
Here you can see emergency crews surrounding the airplane afterwards.
The plane was carrying more than 100 passengers.
They were taken off the plane and bused back to the airport while crews worked to get the plane back on the runway.
No one was hurt.
