I watched the World Trade Center collapse, someone pay me. Obviously some of those kids will need counseling for a long time, but this is ridiculous.

Like she is the only child traumatized from this event. I think given the situation, those teachers and staff did everything they could to keep the kids safe. The family suing will never be welcomed.

No person or agency could have protected or even thought this horrific event would happen. The shooter blasted his way into the school building which had locked doors. I can understand suing to be sure that all medical and counseling bills are paid now and in the future but $100M….I will defend until the death his and the parents right to sue but $100M…..Think about the trauma and counseling those first repsonders will need over the years. So will this person sue those teachers that ran and hid with the studnets instead of attaching the attacker? Will he sue the first responders for not getting there sooner? For not arresting the attacker before he got to the building? I just think the amount is so wrong. Sandy Hook did more than most schools I know by practicing emergency drills….getting off soap box now

Wow……they should b thankful they have their child to hug at night because 20 parents don’t have that option. Disgusting…..if anything, the money from the estate should go to those parents of children who died and all other parents should b thankful it isn’t them!
