Goodwill set up shop outside of every Rocky’s location from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday so folks could stop by and drop off clothing.
Organizers say people have been very generous — so generous that by the end of the day, 15 trucks were filled with donations.
“We have trucks at some of our stores and we have bins at other stores in the area, but yeah, it’s been pretty positive,” says Rocky’s East Longmeadow store manager Scott Robbins. “A lot of people coming in, a lot of people have been calling during the week to see when we’re doing it, too.”
More than 840 donors participated in today’s drop off, which ended at 4 p.m.
If you have clothes you’d like to donate, Goodwill is always accepting donations.
