Crash in Springfield Sends One Driver to Hospital

SPRINGFIELD (WGGB) — One person is in the hospital this morning following a car accident in Springfield.

Police say the crash happened at 1:30 am at the intersection of Orange and Dickinson Street. They believe one vehicle lost control due to poor traction, and hit another vehicle head on.

The vehicles sustained a significant amount of damage, but thankfully no one was seriously injured. Springfield police say one of the drivers involved in the crash is being treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
