Police Release Surveillance Pics of Springfield Robbery Suspect

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – Police are asking for the public’s help in trying to identify a woman suspected of robbing a Springfield beauty supply store.

Last Wednesday, a woman entered the Sally Beauty Supply store on Boston Road around 6:45 p.m. and robbed the place of an undisclosed amount of money.

Now, Springfield Police have released surveillance photos in a hope that someone may recognize the suspect.

The female suspect is in her mid-20′s, with red hair, and about 5′ 3” tall and weighs about 100 pounds. She was seen that night wearing gray sweatpants with a black North Face hooded sweatshirt.

The woman was seen fleeing in a late model gray Nissan Maxima.
