28018-best_police_lightsSPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Police are searching for 2 suspects involved in a possible home invasion Thursday night on Fenwick Street in Springfield.

That’s according to Springfield Police Captain Cheryl Clapprood who reports the call came in at 10:00 p.m. for an incident at 31 Fenwick Street.

Clapprood says an adult woman was struck with a handgun and was transported to Baystate Medical Center for her injuries.

Both suspects were wearing ski masks and one had a handgun. After they struck the woman, they ran off through the back door. Police tell ABC40 that the men didn’t manage to steal anything.

The Springfield Detective Bureau is investigating.

  1. People make opinions based on what they read or see in the news. Yes white people go around shooting large number of people and they say they have issues.
Blacks break into homes beat people in every has a bad thought, drugs, gang affiliations. So perception is based on the media.
No one blames the media for their ignorance.
There is a lot of racism shown in the media, but it is written tactfully.

  2. LOL THINK SHE HAD ENOUGH.. DO PEOPLE EVER THINK WHEN THEY POST DUM RACIST ****!?? WITH A SPECIFIC HANDLE AND A PICTURE ON TOP OF THAT LOL GUESS THEY NEVER HEARD OF DOXING….LOL LOL LOL
