Cher Signs Development Deal with Logo for 1960s-Set Series

Cher is returning to TV.

More than 30 years of co-hosting The Sonny and Cher Show, the singer-actress-gay icon has inked a development deal with Logo, the LGBT-friendly cable network announced Saturday at the winter TV previews.

“It doesn’t get any more iconic than Cher,” Brent Zacky, Logo’s senior vice president of original programming and development, told reporters.
