ABC40 Honor Roll- Springfield Students Become Ambassadors

Springfield, Ma (WGGB)- Four eight grade students from Springfield Public Schools have been selected as Student Ambassadors. The students will take part in Governor Deval Patrick’s community service program, “Project 351″.

Damian Byrd, Alyssa Pikul, Genesis Martinez and Justin Muniz will gather with three hundred other eight graders from the states three-hundred fifty-one cities to participate in a year round special community service program.

The kids were selected because they show a potential for leadership and they reflect the values of compassion, community, humility and kindness.
