Wal-Mart Stores Inc. will join talks at the White House on Thursday about gun control and safety.
Vice President Joe Biden is conducting a series of gatherings this week aimed at building a consensus around proposals to curb gun violence following the deadly shooting at a Newtown, Conn., elementary school last month.
The vice president is meeting Wednesday with victims groups and gun-safety organizations. On Thursday, Biden will meet with the National Rifle Association and other gun-owner groups. Meetings with representatives from the video-game and entertainment industries are also planned.
Wal-Mart said it previously had not planned to attend the meeting because of its senior leaders’ schedule and had spoken in advance with the Vice President’s office to share its perspective.

Lets hope they don’t go too overboard here, because some Walmarts are not even selling BB/Pellet guns now!! My local Walmart pulled all the BB and Peller guns and rifles from the shelves, even ones that only shoot 1 pellet at a time at 400 fps. Thanks to Nobama, it sure looks like are freedom and rights are starting to disappear.

I really hate walmart, but I never thought they sold assult rifles…… guns, rifles for hunting and hand guns should not be affected in legislation. We don’t need an AK 47 to hunt a deer.
Walmart would sell BB guns and pellet guns and rifles that shoot anywhere from 200 fps to 700 fps, for hunting small rodents, squirrels, opposums, crows, etc, etc, and stuff like that, but now some Walmart stores have pulled those off the shelf. I think people are going a little overboard here. I mean, a pellet rifle that shoots 400 fps, and shoots 1 pellet at a time, and than takes 5 minutes to reload, isn’t a dangerous assault weapon, but Walmart is pulling them from the shelves, and I think some “****’s Sporting Goods” stores are as well.
I Hate WALMART. THEY SUCK AND HAVE LOUSY EMPLOYEES AND SELL GARBAGE.
