Local Wind Gusts from Overnight

Springfield Mass (WGGB) – A cold front moved through last night with almost no precipitation but it still made quite a ruckus. With its passage winds guested over 50 mph in a few locations. You may have been woken up by the strong northwesterly winds.

It’s still a bit breezy out there now but the winds have calmed down quite a bit. It will be a bright but blustery day as winds continue to decrease. Checkout some of these wind gusts from last night.

Barnes Municipal Airport: 53 mph.

Westover Air Reserve Base:  48 mph.

Northampton: 46 mph.

Orange: 37 mph

North Adams: 39 mph
