West Springfield Homes without Power

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — WMECO crews are currently working to restore power to several dozen customers in West Springfield.
A WMECO spokesperson says the outage was reported around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Crews found wires down on Piper Road. They have yet to determine how those wires came down.
WMECO reported more than 100 customers without power at 4:30 p.m.
As of 7:30 p.m. Saturday, power has been restored to all but 45 customers.
A spokesperson for the company says it could take several hours to restore service to those customers.
