SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – Springfield Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing man.

56-year-old Leonard (Lenny) Faniel Jr. was last seen by his mother around 9:00 a.m. Saturday before she left their McKnight Street home.

Family members haven’t seen him since then. Police note that his wallet and money were still at the home when they returned.

Faniel Jr. is described as a black man with brown eyes and dark hair. He is about 6′ 1” tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds.

There was no information on what he was wearing when he was last seen.

Detectives say that Faniel Jr. does have a medical condition, and it’s not known if he took his medication with him.

If you may have seen Lenny or know where he is, you are urged to call the Springfield Police Special Victims Unit at (413) 787-6360.
