Police Search for Suspect in Springfield Starbucks Robbery

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – Police are investigating after a busy downtown coffee shop was robbed during the morning rush.
Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney says that around 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, a man walked into the Starbucks on East Columbus Avenue, gave a note to an employee demanding money, then fled with undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect implied that he had a gun, but none was shown.

Springfield police say the suspect DID steal money from the cashier but wouldn’t specify the amount.
Looks like SPD has a busy day ahead of them!
I read that he left money in the tip jar.
