SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – Clean-up is underway after a three-car accident shut down part of Boston Road in Springfield on Saturday.

The accident happened in front of 191 Boston Road Saturday afternoon.

According to Springfield Police Sgt. Sean Arpin, seven people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The road was shut down while police finished cleaning up the debris.
