Springfield, Mass (WGGB)-  On Friday, fifth graders at the Kensington Ave Elementary School in Springfield took to the ballroom floor to perform in an event they’ve been planning for months. The kids took part in a dance off.

Besides learning how to dance, the kids also learned a few valuable lessons. They learned the importance of taking a risk and got some experience performing in front of a crowd.

The winning pair gets to Cha-Cha, Merengue and Tango their way on to The Symphony Hall Stage this coming spring.
