BOSTON (AP) — Investigators say a pillow, blanket and baby wipes stained with blood were found in the bedroom of the 1-year-old Massachusetts girl who died after she was allegedly assaulted by her Irish nanny.
Aisling McCarthy Brady is being held on $500,000 bail near Boston after pleading not guilty Tuesday to an assault charge.
Authorities say she could be charged with murder after an autopsy is completed on Rehma Sabir, a Cambridge infant who was hospitalized with head injuries on Jan. 14 — her first birthday — and died two days later.
In court documents filed Tuesday, state police said they found a bloody blanket and pillow in a crib and blood-stained baby wipes discarded in a diaper pail.
Brady’s lawyer says her client had no role in the baby’s death.

This is very sad the Nanny knows she did it. Be woman about your self.
Why does the report specfically label her as Irish? When there is any other kind of murder reports they don’t label the people as puerto rican, or african american. Was it an immigrant?
She’s an illegal alien here from Ireland.THAT is why.
who really gives a **** if shes Irish.. she killed a innocent child thats what matters here!
Exactly killed a innocent helpless baby sick and ****in sad!!! And I.pray these parents get justice this is why I’d never have a nanny u never truly no someone!!
Words cant even BEGIN to express how pissed I am about this! Makes me sick!!!! Whoever, probably her, did this should rot in hell and be put to death…bring back the death penalty!….especially for the murder of a child/infant!!!
She flew under the radar as an illegal immigrant for the past 10 years. Now that she’s being charged with murder they have that much more to charge her with. She’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
I see we have all convicted her already. Justice hopefully will wk and the family can go on with healing. The family did not go and do normal hiring here to check the nanny out. Did they submit taxes for her? Something went completely amiss. Many contributors are into this horrifying case.
