Elderly Woman Dies in Barre Fire

BARRE, Mass. (WGGB/AP) — Authorities say an elderly woman has died in a four-alarm house fire in Barre.
A spokeswoman for the state Fire Marshal’s office confirmed to the Associated Press the fatality in the fire reported late Thursday morning on Trafalgar Square.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
