Springfield, Mass (WGGB) – Eight grade students at St. Michael’s Academy in Springfield participated in “the school of the future” competition.

The winning team focused their ideas on an indoor/outdoor classroom, including “green technologies” and new and improved learning environments.

The formal judging took place in the school’s conference room where each team dressed up and made a formal presentation to a panel of judges.

The winners will compete at the state level where last year St. Michael’s Academy placed first.
