West Springfield, Mass (WGGB) – Phyness Young- Baldwin is an eighth grader at West Sprignfield Middle School and she is having quite a week. On Monday she went on a field trip with her classmates to a Womans U-Mass basketball game.

At half-time of the game she took part in a contest. She had to make four shots. A lay-up, a foul shot, a three-pointer and a half court shot, in order to win season tickets.

Making all four shots would not be easy but that is exactly what she did. She went four-for-four sending the crowd into a tizzy. Her Guidance Councilor said it couldn’t have happened to a nicer kid.
