SPRINGFIELD, Mass (wggb) — Snow was a factor in an early morning accident on Chapin Street in Springfield. It happened just before 1am this morning when the driver went into a utility pole.
Although the accident brought down the pole there were no power outages and WMECO worked through the night to fix the pole. Police say the driver in that accident did not need to be taken to the hospital.
