Agawam, Mass (WGGB) – A group of students in Agawam come together for their love of science, math, engineering, and technology. They are called, “FIRST Team 839, Rosie Robotics”.

The team uses science and math to create a competitive robot.  The team also
provides plenty of community outreach. Not only does the team excel in the
classroom they also use their technology skills to inspire innovation and
promote self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

In the community the team is involved in food drives, they support our
troops by sending cards to wounded service men and take part in green
initiatives.

Currently the team is working on a robot to compete in this year’s Robotic
Competition in Hartford and Worchester.
