SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Springfield Police are searching for two men who allegedly held up a convenience store at gunpoint.
Springfield Police Lt. Daniel said officers were called to Worthington Convenience at 160 Worthington Street at around 9:45 p.m. Monday.
Police said the men were described as wearing black hooded winter coats, gloves and masks and one of them was carrying a rifle.
The pair was able to get away with $300 and some Newport cigarettes, according to police. The suspects then ran away from the scene on foot.
Lt. Daniel said that, according to police reports, the suspects dropped a clip or spare magazine on their way out of the store.
